General CPR/AED & First Aid Combo
About Course
*This course now follows the updated ECC guidelines for Basic Life Support (CPR), specifically for resuscitating patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19. Keep an eye out for these important updates as you go through the course.
Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is one of the leading causes of death among adults in the U.S., but CPR can greatly improve a patient’s chance of survival.
CPR combines chest compressions and breaths to keep blood flowing and deliver oxygen to the heart and brain. When CPR is performed within 3 to 5 minutes of collapse, it can reduce the risk of permanent damage and help save lives.
This course is based on the latest 2020 Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) guidelines and is designed to equip you with the skills to respond effectively in an emergency.
